উত্তরাঞ্ছলের সর্বোচ্চ বিদ্যাপীঠ রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সবুজ প্রান্তরে মুক্তিযুদ্ধভিত্তিক সংগ্রহ নিয়ে গড়ে উঠেছে দেশের প্রথম শহীদ স্মৃতি সংগ্রহশালা (RU Martyrs Memorial Museum)। মুক্তিযুদ্ধ বিষয়ক জাদুঘর হিসেবে পরিচিত এই সংগ্রহশালায় মুক্তিযুদ্ধের ইতিহাস ও নানা স্মৃতি সংরক্ষিত আছে। তরুন প্রজন্মকে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনায় উজ্জীবিত করতে ১৯৭৬ সালে রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শহীদ মিনার কমপ্লেক্সে এই সংগ্রহশালাটি যাত্রা শুরু করে। প্রতিদিন এখানে অসংখ্য দর্শনার্থী সংগ্রহশালায় আসেন।
Built on the green campus of Rajshahi University, the highest seat of learning in the northern region, Shaheed Smriti Sangrahashala (RU Martyrs Memorial Museum) is the country’s first Liberation War-based museum. Known as a museum dedicated to the Liberation War, it preserves the history and various memorabilia of the Liberation War. To inspire the younger generation with the spirit of the Liberation War, this museum began its journey in 1976 at the Shahid Minar Complex of Rajshahi University. Countless visitors come to the museum every day.
