মুন্সিগঞ্জ জেলার মীরকাদিমের দরগাবাড়ী গ্রামে কাফুরশাহ্ কর্তৃক নির্মিত ছয় গম্বুজ বিশিষ্ট বাবা আদম মসজিদ (Baba Adam Mosque) অবস্থিত। সুদূর আরবে জন্ম নিয়েও ইসলাম ধর্ম প্রচারের উদ্দেশ্যে সাধক বাবা আদম শহীদে (রাঃ) ভারতবর্ষে পদার্পণ করেন। পরবর্তীতে ১১৭৮ সালে সেন শাসনামলে তিনি মুন্সিগঞ্জের মিরকাদিমে আগমণ করেন। সেই সময় মুন্সিগঞ্জ ছিল বল্লাল সেনের রাজত্বে। স্থানীয় যুদ্ধে অত্যাচারী হিন্দু রাজা বল্লাল সেনের হাতে প্রাণ হারান এই সাধক। শহীদ বাবা আদমের মৃত্যুর ৩১৯ বছর পর ১৪৮৩ সালে বাবা আদম মসজিদ নির্মাণ করা হয়। প্রায় ৫৩০ বছর ধরে ঐতিহ্যের সাক্ষী হয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা এই মসজিদটি পুরাকালের আত্নত্যাগী বাবা আদমের স্মৃতি স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয়।
The six-domed Baba Adam Mosque, built by Kafur Shah, is located in the village of Dargabari in Mirkadim, Munshiganj district. Born in distant Arabia, the Sufi saint Baba Adam Shahid (RA) came to the Indian subcontinent to preach Islam. Later, in 1178 during the Sena rule, he arrived in Mirkadim, Munshiganj. At that time, Munshiganj was under the rule of Ballal Sena. The saint lost his life at the hands of the tyrannical Hindu king Ballal Sena in a local war. 319 years after the death of the martyr Baba Adam, the Baba Adam Mosque was built in 1483. Standing as a witness to heritage for nearly 530 years, this mosque recalls the memory of the self-sacrificing Baba Adam from ancient times.
