বাংলাদেশের বাণিজ্যিক রাজধানী চট্টগ্রামের কেন্দ্রস্থলে অবস্থিত বন্যপ্রাণী সংরক্ষণ ও গবেষণারের নাম চট্টগ্রাম চিড়িয়াখানা (Chittagong Zoo)। ১৯৮৯ সালের ২৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি পাহাড়তলী ইউএসটিসি মেডিকেল কলেজ সংলগ্ন ৬ একর জায়গাজুড়ে বানর, সিংহ, হরিণ ও হনুমান এই চার প্রজাতির ১৬টি প্রাণী নিয়ে চট্টগ্রাম চিড়িয়াখানা যাত্রা শুরু করে।

Chittagong Zoo is a wildlife conservation and research center located in the heart of Bangladesh’s commercial capital, Chattogram. Chittagong Zoo began its journey on February 28, 1989, across 6 acres of land adjacent to the USTC Medical College in Pahartali, with 16 animals of four species: monkeys, lions, deer, and langurs.
