করমজল ( Karamjal ) পর্যটন কেন্দ্রটি সুন্দরবনে পশুর নদীর তীরে অবস্থিত। বন বিভাগের তত্ত্বাবধানে মোংলা সমুদ্র বন্দর থেকে প্রায় আট কিলোমিটার দূরে ৩০ হেক্টর জমির উপর পর্যটন কেন্দ্রটি গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। যদি একদিনে সুন্দরবন ভ্রমণ স্বাদ নিতে চান তবে করমজল হচ্ছে সবচেয়ে উপযুক্ত জায়গা। প্রকৃতির শোভা বাড়াতে এখানে রয়েছে কুমির, হরিণ, রেসাস বানর সহ নানা প্রজাতির পশুপাখি। এছাড়াও নির্মিত হয়েছে কাঠের ট্রেইল, টাওয়ার এবং জেলেদের মাছ ধরার কর্মজজ্ঞ হচ্ছে অতিরিক্ত প্রাপ্তি। করমজলে বাংলাদেশের একমাত্র কুমিরের প্রাকৃতিক প্রজনন কেন্দ্র অবস্থিত।
The Karamjal tourist spot is located on the banks of the Passur River in the Sundarbans. Established over 30 hectares of land about eight kilometres away from the Mongla Sea Port under the supervision of the Forest Department, this centre is the most suitable place if you want to experience a one-day trip to the Sundarbans. To enhance the natural beauty, there are various species of animals and birds including crocodiles, deer, and rhesus macaques. In addition, wooden trails and observation towers have been built, and witnessing fishermen at work is an added bonus. Karamjal is home to Bangladesh’s only natural crocodile breeding centre.
