ঝিনাইদহ জেলার কালিগঞ্জ উপজেলার বারোবাজারে এক গম্বুজ বিশিষ্ট দৃষ্টিনন্দন জোড় বাংলা মসজিদ (Jor Bangla Masjid) বা জোড়া ঢিবি মসজিদের অবস্থান। মসজিদের কারুকার্য ও স্থাপত্যশিল্প মুসলিম সভ্যতা ও উৎকর্ষতার এক অন্যতম নিদর্শন হিসাবে গন্য করা যায়। ধারণা করা হয়, ৮০০ হিজরি সনে আলাউদ্দিন হুসাইন শাহের পুত্র শাহ সুলতান মাহমুদ জোড় বাংলা মসজিদ প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। বহু বছর আগে এই স্থানে থাকা এক জোড়া কুঁড়ে ঘর বা জোড়া দীঘির সেকারণেই মসজিদের এমন নামকরণ করা হয়েছে।
The single-dome, picturesque Jor Bangla Masjid (also known as Jora Dhibi Masjid) is located in Barobazar, Kaliganj Upazila, Jhenaidah District. The mosque’s intricate ornamentation and architecture are considered prime examples of Muslim civilization and excellence. It is believed that Shah Sultan Mahmud, son of Alauddin Hussain Shah, established the Jor Bangla Mosque in 800 Hijri. The mosque got its name due to a pair of thatched huts or a pair of large ponds that existed in this location many years ago.
