বিভাগীয় শহর খুলনা থেকে মাত্র ১৯ কিলোমিটার দূরত্বে ফুলতলা উপজেলার দক্ষিণডিহি গ্রাম অবস্থিত। দক্ষিণডিহি গ্রামেই রয়েছে একসময়ের জাঁকজমকপূর্ণ রায় বাড়ি তথা রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের শ্বশুরালয়। বর্তমানে রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের শ্বশুরালয় (Father-In-Law’s House of Rabindranath) ‘রবীন্দ্র কমপ্লেক্স’ নামে পরিচিত। এখানে রয়েছে বিশ্বকবি রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর ও কবিপত্নী মৃণালিনী দেবীর আবক্ষ ভাস্কর্য এবং মূল দ্বিতল ভবন। এছাড়াও ঘন সবুজ বাগান, পুকুরঘাট, পান বরজ এবং সুসজ্জিত নার্সারি এই বাড়িটির শোভাবর্ধন করেছে।
Dakshinadihi village in Phultala upazila is located just 19 kilometers away from the divisional city of Khulna. In Dakshinadihi village stands the once-magnificent Roy house, which is also the father-in-law’s house of Rabindranath Tagore. Today, the father-in-law’s house of Rabindranath Tagore is known as ‘Rabindra Complex’. It features bust sculptures of Nobel laureate poet Rabindranath Tagore and his wife Mrinalini Devi, along with the main two-story building. Additionally, dense green gardens, a pond ghat, betel leaf groves, and well-maintained nurseries enhance the beauty of this house.
