রাজধানী ঢাকা থেকে মাত্র ৩২ কিলোমিটার দূরে মুন্সীগঞ্জ জেলার শ্রীনগর উপজেলায় জগদীশ চন্দ্র বসুর পৈতৃক বসতবাড়িকে ঘিরে জগদীশ চন্দ্র বসু স্মৃতি জাদুঘর কমপ্লেক্সটিকে সাজানো হয়েছে। প্রায় ৩০ একর আয়তনের এই বাড়িতে অসংখ্য বৃক্ষরাজির ছায়াময় প্রকৃতির মাঝে বিভিন্ন পশুপাখির ম্যুরাল, কৃত্রিম পাহাড়-ঝরনা, শান বাঁধানো পুকুর ঘাট এবং দর্শনার্থীদের বিশ্রামের জন্য ত্রিকোণাকৃতির ঘর নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। কমপ্লেক্সের ভেতরে রয়েছে মোট ছয়টি বৃহৎ জলাশয়, যা পুরো পরিবেশকে বিশেষভাবে মনোরম করে তুলেছে। ছয় কক্ষবিশিষ্ট পৈতৃক বাড়িটির একটি কক্ষকে জাদুঘরে রূপান্তর করা হয়েছে। জগদীশ চন্দ্র বসু স্মৃতি জাদুঘরে জগদীশ চন্দ্র বসুর পোর্ট্রেট, বিভিন্ন গবেষণাপত্র, হাতে লেখা পাণ্ডুলিপি, রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের নোবেল প্রাপ্তিতে লেখা চিঠি, রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের পাঠানো চিঠি এবং ১৭টি দুর্লভ ছবি প্রদর্শনের জন্য রাখা আছে। এছাড়া একটি ফ্ল্যাট স্ক্রিন টেলিভিশনে অডিও-ভিজুয়াল উপস্থাপনার মাধ্যমে তাঁর জীবন, গবেষণা ও অবদান সম্পর্কে দর্শনার্থীদের জানার সুযোগ রয়েছে।
Located just 32 kilometers from the capital Dhaka in Srinagar Upazila of Munshiganj District, the Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose Memorial Museum complex has been developed around the ancestral home of Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose. Spanning across an area of about 30 acres, the property features shady nature with numerous trees, murals of various animals and birds, artificial hills and waterfalls, brick-paved pond ghats, and triangular resting houses for visitors. Inside the complex, there are a total of six large water bodies, which make the entire environment exceptionally scenic. One of the rooms in the six-room ancestral house has been converted into a museum. On display at the Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose Memorial Museum are portraits of Jagadish Chandra Bose, various research papers, handwritten manuscripts, a letter written on the occasion of Rabindranath Tagore receiving the Nobel Prize, a letter sent by Rabindranath Tagore, and 17 rare photographs. Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to learn about his life, research, and contributions through an audio-visual presentation on a flat-screen television.
