নরসিংদী জেলা থেকে প্রায় ২৮ কিলোমিটার দূরে বেলাব উপজেলায় প্রায় ৩০০ বছরের পুরাতন বেলাব বাজার কেন্দ্রীয় জামে মসজিদ (Belabo Bazar Central Jame Masjid) অবস্থিত। কাঠামোগত অনন্য নির্মাণশৈলীর জন্য দেশের সেরা মসজিদগুলোর মধ্যে এটি অন্যতম। বেলাব বাজার কেন্দ্রীয় জামে মসজিদটি দুইবার নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। প্রাথমিক নির্মাণকালে এই মসজিদটিতে ৭টি গম্বুজ ছিল। প্রচলিত আছে, প্রতিষ্ঠালগ্নে এই মসজিদের ভিতর থেকে অলৌকিক বা গায়েবি ভাবে কুরআন তেলওয়াতের সুর শোনা যেত। ফলে এই মসজিদটি “ফজিলতের মসজিদ” হিসেবে পরিচিতি লাভ করে।
Located about 28 kilometers from Narsingdi district, the nearly 300-year-old Belabo Bazar Central Jame Masjid is situated in Belabo Upazila. It is one of the best mosques in the country due to its unique architectural design. The Belabo Bazar Central Jame Masjid has been built twice. During its initial construction, the mosque had 7 domes. It is commonly believed that at the time of its establishment, miraculous or divine recitations of the Quran could be heard from inside this mosque. As a result, this mosque became known as the “Faziler Masjid” (Mosque of Virtues).
