বাংলাদেশের বৌদ্ধ সম্প্রদায়ের বৃহত্তম বিহার রাজবন বিহার ( Rajban Bihar ) রাঙ্গামাটি জেলায় অবস্থিত। রাঙ্গামাটির দর্শনীয় স্থান গুলোর মধ্যে পর্যটকদের অন্যতম আকর্ষণ হলো এই রাজবন বিহার। চিন্তাপ্রচারক ও ধর্ম-দার্শনিক বৌদ্ধধর্মীয় নেতা শ্রদ্ধেয় সাধনানন্দ মহাস্থবির বনভান্তে ১৯৭৭ সালে স্থায়ভাবে বসবাসের জন্যে রাঙ্গামাটিতে আসেন। বনভান্ত ও তাঁর শিষ্যদের বসবাসের জন্যে এই বিহারটি নির্মান করা হয়। বৌদ্ধদের জন্যে বিশেষ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ এই বিহার বর্তমানে আন্তর্জাতিক বৌদ্ধ তীর্থস্থান হিসেবে পরিণত হয়েছে। শুধু বৌদ্ধ ধর্মাম্বলীদের জন্যে নয় পার্বত্য অঞ্চলের এই ধর্মজ্ঞানচর্চাকেন্দ্রটি দুনিয়ার সব প্রকৃতিপ্রেমী, সৌন্দর্যঘনিষ্ট ও জ্ঞানসাধক মানুষের জন্যেই। ভ্রমণে এই বিহার ঘুরে দেখার আনন্দের সাথে খুব সহজেই যুক্ত হবে জানার নতুন ভুবন। সাংস্কৃতিক ভাব বিনিময়ের সাথে মিলবে ধর্মচিন্তা, সাম্প্রদায়িক সম্প্রীতি ও সৌহার্দ্য বোধের সুযোগ।
Rajban Vihara, the largest Vihara of the Buddhist community in Bangladesh, is located in Rangamati district. It is one of the top attractions for tourists among the sights of Rangamati. The revered Sadhanananda Mahathera Bonbhante, a propagation thinker and religious-philosophical Buddhist leader, came to Rangamati in 1977 to reside permanently.
