ঝিনাইদহ জেলা সদর থেকে মাত্র ৩ কিলোমিটার দূরে মুরারীদহ গ্রামে অবস্থিত মিয়ার দালান ( Miyar Dalan ) একটি ঐতিহ্যবাহী দর্শনীয় স্থান। ১২৩৬ বঙ্গাব্দে জমিদার কতৃক নির্মিত মিয়ার দালানটি ১৯৪৭ সালে দেশ ভাগের সময় সেলিম চৌধুরী নামের এক ব্যক্তির কাছে বিক্রি করে দেয়া হয়। তাই স্থানীয়ভাবে অনেকের কাছেই এটি সেলিম চৌধুরীর বাড়ি হিসাবেও পরিচিত। এছাড়া মিয়ার দালানকে বিশেষভাবে পরিচিত করেছিল এখানে থাকা একটি খেজুর গাছ। আর এই খেজুর গাছটির ১২টির বেশি চূঁড়া ছিল, যার প্রতিটি চূঁড়া থেকেই রস আহরণ করা যেত।
Miyar Dalan is a traditional sightseeing spot located in Muraridah village, just 3 km from the Jhenaidah district headquarters. Built by a zamindar in 1236 BS, Miyar Dalan was sold to a man named Salim Chowdhury during the partition of India in 1947. Therefore, to many locals, it is also known as Salim Chowdhury’s House. Additionally, Miyar Dalan was made uniquely famous by a date palm tree located here. This date palm tree had more than 12 crowns, from each of which sap could be harvested.
