কুমিল্লা শহর থেকে প্রায় ৯ কিলোমিটার দূরে কোটবাড়িতে অবস্থিত একটি প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক স্থাপনার নাম রূপবান মুড়া (Rupban Mura)। ৯০ দশকে কুমিল্লা-কালিবাজার সড়কের কাছে অবস্থিত বাংলাদেশের প্রাচীন ইতিহাসের এক অন্যতম এই নিদর্শনটি খনন করা হয়। কথিত আছে, রহিম ও রূপবানের ভালোবাসার এক অন্যতম নিদর্শন এই স্থান। তাদের অসম প্রেমের নানা ঘটনা ও কাহিনী রয়েছে সবুজ প্রকৃতির মাঝে গড়ে উঠা এই ঐতিহাসিক স্থানকে ঘিরে।
Rupban Mura is an archaeological site located in Kotbari, about 9 kilometres away from Cumilla town. This site, one of the significant remnants of ancient Bangladeshi history near the Cumilla-Kalibazar road, was excavated in the 1990s. According to legend, this place is one of the notable symbols of the love between Rahim and Rupban. Various tales and stories of their tragic love surround this historic place built amidst green nature.
