পটুয়াখালী জেলার কুয়াকাটার প্রাচীন কুয়ার সামনে ঐতিহ্যবাহী মিশ্রিপাড়া সীমা বৌদ্ধ মন্দির (Misripara Seema Buddha Temple) অবস্থিত। কুয়াকাটা সৈকত থেকে প্রায় ৮ কিলোমিটার দূরে অবস্থিত। ঐতিহাসিক ৩৭ মন ওজনের প্রাচীন অষ্টধাতুর তৈরি ধ্যানমগ্ন বুদ্ধ মূর্তিটি ধারণা করা হয় আকারে উপমাহাদেশের সবচেয়ে বড়। এছাড়া এই মন্দিরের কাছে রাখাইনদের সবচেয়ে গ্রাম অবস্থিত। যেখানে এই ক্ষুদ্র নৃগোষ্ঠীর জীবনধারার সাথে পরিচিত হওয়ার সুযোগ রয়েছে।
The traditional Misripara Seema Buddha Temple is located in front of the ancient well of Kuakata in Patuakhali district. It is situated about 8 kilometers away from Kuakata beach. The historic, 37-mon (approx. 1,480 kg) ancient meditating Buddha statue made of astadhatu (an alloy of eight metals) is believed to be the largest of its kind in the subcontinent in terms of size. Furthermore, the largest Rakhain village is located near this temple, offering an opportunity to get acquainted with the lifestyle of this ethnic minority group.
