কিশোরগঞ্জ জেলার পাকুন্দিয়া উপজেলা থেকে ১০ কিলোমিটার দূরে এক গম্বুজ বিশিষ্ট প্রাচীন শেখ মাহমুদ শাহ্ মসজিদ (Sheikh Mahmud Shah Mosque) অবস্থিত। ১৬৬৪ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে সুবেদার শায়েস্তা খাঁর আমলে এগারসিন্ধুরের তৎকালীন প্রখ্যাত ব্যবসায়ী শাহ্ মাহমুদ এই মসজিদটি নির্মাণ করেন। মসজিদটির মূল নাম শাহ্ মাহমুদ মসজিদ হলেও ইউনেস্কো মুসলিম স্থাপত্যের নিদর্শন হিসেবে শাহ্ মোহাম্মদ মসজিদ নামে লিপিবদ্ধ করে।
The single-domed ancient Sheikh Mahmud Shah Mosque is located 10 kilometers away from Pakundia Upazila in Kishoreganj District. In 1664, during the reign of Subahdar Shaista Khan, Shah Mahmud, a prominent merchant of Egarasindhur at that time, built this mosque. Although the original name of the mosque is Shah Mahmud Mosque, UNESCO recorded it as Shah Mohammad Mosque as a specimen of Muslim architecture.
