পাবনা জেলা শহরের প্রাণকেন্দ্রে অবস্থিত বনমালী রায় বাহাদুরের তাড়াশ রাজবাড়ী (Tarash Rajbari) এই অঞ্চলের সবচেয়ে পুরাতন ও ঐতিহ্যবাহী রাজবাড়ী হিসাবে সুপরিচিত। বগুড়া জেলার কোদলা গ্রামে তাড়াশের রায় বংশের পূর্বপুরুষ বাসুদেব অর্থাৎ তাড়াশ পরিবার জেলার সবচেয়ে বড় জমিদার ছিলেন। নবাব মুর্শিদকুলি খানের রাজস্ব বিভাগে চাকরি করে বাসুদেব তাড়াশ ভবন প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। পরবর্তীতে বাসুদেব নবাব মুর্শিদকুলি খান কতৃক ‘রায়চৌধুরী’ খেতাবে ভূষিত হন। বাসুদেবের এষ্টেটে মৌজার পরিমাণ ছিল প্রায় ২০০টি।
Located in the heart of Pabna district town, Banamali Ray Bahadur’s Tarash Rajbari is well-known as the oldest and most traditional rajbari in this region. Basudev, the ancestor of the Ray family of Tarash in Kodla village of Bogra district, i.e., the Tarash family, was the largest zamindar in the district. Working in the revenue department of Nawab Murshid Quli Khan, Basudev established the Tarash Bhaban. Later, Basudev was conferred the title ‘Raychowdhury’ by Nawab Murshid Quli Khan. The number of mauzas in Basudev’s estate was about 200.
