নরসিংদীর রায়পুরা উপজেলার আটকান্দি গ্রামে মাওলানা আলিম উদ্দিন প্রায় ১৫০ বছর আগে ঐতিহাসিক আটকান্দি মসজিদ (Atkandi Nilkuthi Mosque) নির্মাণ করেন। কোন শিলালিপি না থাকায় মসজিদের নির্মাণকাল সম্পর্কে সঠিক তথ্য পাওয়া যায়নি। তবে অনুমান করা হয় আটকান্দি মসজিদটি ১৮৯০ সালের দিকে নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। স্থানীয়দের কাছে আটকান্দি মসজিদটি নীলকুঠি মসজিদ নামে সুপরিচিত।

Maulana Alim Uddin built the historic Atkandi Mosque (Atkandi Nilkuthi Mosque) in Atkandi village under Raipura upazila of Narsingdi about 150 years ago. As there is no inscription, exact information regarding the construction period of the mosque is not available. However, it is estimated that the Atkandi Mosque was built around 1890. The Atkandi Mosque is well known to the locals as the Nilkuthi Mosque.
