ধর্মসাগর দীঘি (Dharmasagar Dighi) কুমিল্লা জেলা শহরের কেন্দ্রে অবস্থিত। ধারণা করা হয় ১৭৫০ থেকে ১৮০৮ খ্রিস্টাব্দে মধ্যে প্রজাহিতৈষী পাল বংশের রাজা ধর্মপাল তৎকালীন দুর্ভিক্ষপীড়িত মানুষের জলের কষ্ট লাঘবের জন্য ধর্মসাগর দীঘিটি খনন করেন। তাঁর নামানুসারেই দীঘির নামকরন করা হয় ধর্মসাগর দীঘি। ধর্মসাগর দীঘির উত্তরে একটি শিশুপার্ক নির্মিত হয়েছে। সবুজে ঢাকা শিশুপার্কে বসে ধর্মসাগরের মনোমুগ্ধকর দৃশ্য উপভোগ করা যায়। বিকেলবেলা সবুজে আচ্ছাদিত নান্দনিক ধর্মসাগর দীঘির পাড়ে শত শত ভ্রমণকারীর আগমন ঘটে। চাইলে নৌকা ভাড়া করে দীঘি ঘুরে দেখারও সুযোগ রয়েছেন।
Dharmasagar Dighi is located in the center of Comilla district town. It is believed that between 1750 and 1808 AD, the benevolent Pala king Dharmapala excavated Dharmasagar Dighi to alleviate the water suffering of the famine-stricken people of that time. The dighi was named Dharmasagar after him. A children’s park has been built to the north of Dharmasagar Dighi. Sitting in the green-covered children’s park, one can enjoy the charming views of Dharmasagar. In the afternoon, hundreds of travelers visit the banks of the aesthetic, green-covered Dharmasagar Dighi. If you wish, there is also an opportunity to rent a boat and explore the dighi.
