কুষ্টিয়া জেলা থেকে ৩১ কিলোমিটার দূরে হার্ডিঞ্জ ব্রিজের পাশেই পদ্মা নদীর উপর কুষ্টিয়া ও পাবনা জেলাকে সংযোগকারী লালন শাহ্ সেতু (Lalon Shah Bridge) অবস্থিত। কুষ্টিয়ার বিখ্যাত বাউল সাধক গুরু ফকির লালন সাঁই-এর নামে লালন শাহ্ সেতুর নামকরণ করা হয়েছে। পাকশী সেতু নামেও সুপরিচিত লালন শাহ সেতু বাংলাদেশের বৃহত্তম সড়ক সেতুগুলোর মধ্যে অন্যতম। ৭.৫ মিটার দুই লেন বিশিষ্ট এই সেতুর ভিত্তি প্রস্থর স্থাপন করা হয় ২০০১ সালের ১৩ জানুয়ারিতে এবং ২০০৮ সালের ১৮ মে পূর্নাঙ্গরূপে যানবাহন চলাচলের জন্য খুলে দেয়া হয়।
Located on the Padma River right beside the Hardinge Bridge, 31 kilometers from Kushtia district, the Lalon Shah Bridge connects Kushtia and Pabna districts. The bridge is named after Kushtia’s famous Baul saint and guru, Fakir Lalon Shah. Also well-known as the Paksey Bridge, the Lalon Shah Bridge is one of the largest road bridges in Bangladesh. This two-lane bridge, which is 7.5 meters wide, had its foundation stone laid on 13 January 2001 and was fully opened to traffic on 18 May 2008.
