Located in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, Rangamati is well known not only for its lakes and hills but also for its diverse culture. One of the best places to experience this diverse culture up close is the Museum of Ethnic Minorities, situated inside the Cultural Institute of Minority Ethnic Groups in the Asambasti area along the Rangamati-Kaptai Road.
