চাঁদপুর জেলার শাহরাস্তি উপজেলার শ্রীপুর গ্রামে ইসলাম ধর্ম প্রচারক হযরত শাহরাস্তির মাজার (Hazrat Shahrasti Mazar) অবস্থিত। রাস্তি শাহ্ ১২৩৮ খ্রিস্টাব্দে ইরাকের বাগদাদ শহরে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। হযরত রাস্তি শাহ্ (রঃ) ছিলেন বড় পীর হযরত আব্দুল কাদের জিলানী (রঃ) এর বংশধর। দিল্লির সুলতান ফিরোজ শাহ্-র আমলে হযরত শাহ্ জালালের সাথে ইসলাম প্রচারের উদ্দেশ্যে উপমহাদেশে আসা ১২ জন আউলিয়ার মধ্যে হযরত শাহ্ রাস্তি ছিলেন অন্যতম। ধর্ম প্রচারের উদ্দেশ্যে তিনি ৭৩৮ বঙ্গাব্দে ইয়েমেন এবং ১৩৫১ সালে বাংলাদেশে আসেন। পরবর্তীতে তাঁর নামানুসারেই শাহরাস্তি উপজেলার নামকরণ করা হয়। তাঁর বিভিন্ন অলৌকিক ঘটনার কথা আজো মানুষের মুখে মুখে প্রচলিত আছে। কথিত আছে, মাজারের উত্তর দিকের বড় দীঘিটি তিনি জ্বীনদের সহায়তায় এক রাতের মধ্যেই খনন করিয়েছিলেন।
Hazrat Shahrasti Mazar is located in Sreepur village of Shahrasti upazila in Chandpur district. Rasti Shah was born in 1238 AD in Baghdad, Iraq. Hazrat Rasti Shah (R) was a descendant of Boro Peer Hazrat Abdul Kader Jilani (R). Hazrat Rasti Shah was one of the 12 saints who came to the subcontinent to preach Islam with Hazrat Shah Jalal during the reign of Delhi Sultan Firoz Shah. He came to Yemen in 738 BS and to Bangladesh in 1351 to preach religion. Later, Shahrasti upazila was named after him. Tales of his various miraculous events are still popular among the people. It is said that he had the large pond on the north side of the mazar excavated in a single night with the help of djinns.
