কক্সবাজার জেলা শহর থেকে ১৮ কিলোমিটার দূরে রামু উপজেলায় পাহাড় ও সমতলের সমন্বয়ে ঐতিহ্যবাহী রামু রাবার বাগান (Ramu Rubber Garden) গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। ১৯৬০-৬১ সালে বাংলাদেশ বন শিল্প উন্নয়ন কর্পোরেশনের সহায়তায় অনাবাদি জমি গবেষণার মাধ্যমে রামুতে রাবার চাষাবাদ শুরু করা হয়। ছোট বড় অসংখ্য পাহাড়, টিলা ও বিস্তৃত সমতল পাহাড়ের মাঝে ২,৬৮২ একর জায়গা জুড়ে বিস্তৃত রামু রাবার বাগানের চারপাশে রয়েছে অপরূপ সৌন্দর্যের হাতছানি।
The traditional Ramu Rubber Garden (Ramu Rubber Garden) has been developed combining hills and plains in Ramu Upazila, 18 kilometers away from Cox’s Bazar district town. Rubber cultivation began in Ramu in 1960-61 through research on uncultivated land with the assistance of the Bangladesh Forest Industries Development Corporation. Spanning an area of 2,682 acres amidst numerous small and large hills, hillocks, and sprawling flat plains, the Ramu Rubber Garden is surrounded by captivating natural beauty.
