Gurdwara Nanak Shahi is a Sikh place of worship located near the Faculty of Arts building on the Dhaka University campus. It is widely believed that Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, stayed at this site for some time during the 16th century. During his time there, he preached monotheism and brotherhood, and provided guidance on various Sikh rituals. Although there are differing opinions regarding the exact construction period of Gurdwara Nanak Shahi, its construction was completed in 1830 AD.
