দিনাজপুর জেলা শহর থেকে প্রায় ২০ কিলোমিটার উত্তরে কাহারোল উপজেলার সুন্দরপুর ইউনিয়নে অবস্থিত কান্তনগর প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক জাদুঘর (Kantanagar Archaeological Museum) উত্তরবঙ্গের এক সমৃদ্ধ সংগ্রহশালা। দিনাজপুর-পঞ্চগড় মহাসড়কের পাশেই ঢেপা নদীর তীরে গড়ে ওঠা এই জাদুঘরটি মূলত বাংলার প্রাচীন সভ্যতা ও রাজকীয় ইতিহাসের এক নীরব সাক্ষী। কান্তজিউ মন্দিরের ঠিক পাশেই এর অবস্থান হওয়ায় পর্যটকদের জন্য এটি ইতিহাসের কাছাকাছি যাওয়ার এক চমৎকার সুযোগ করে দেয়।
Located in Sundarpur Union of Kaharol Upazila, about 20 kilometers north of Dinajpur district town, the Kantanagar Archaeological Museum is a rich repository of North Bengal. Situated on the banks of the Dhepa River right beside the Dinajpur-Panchagarh highway, this museum is a silent witness to Bengal’s ancient civilization and royal history.
