বাংলাদেশ ও ভারত সীমান্তের কাছে অবস্থিত যশোর জেলার শার্শা উপজেলার অন্তর্গত একটি গ্রামের নাম বেনাপোল। বেনাপোলে আছে একটি সীমান্ত তল্লাশী ঘাঁটি ও একটি আন্তর্জাতিক স্থল বন্দর, যা বেনাপোল স্থল বন্দর (Benapole Land Port) নামে পরিচিত। বাংলাদেশ স্থল বন্দর কর্তৃপক্ষ কতৃক পরিচালিত বেনাপোল স্থল বন্দরের বিপরীতে ভারতের অংশটি পেট্রাপোল নামে পরিচিত, এটি পশ্চিম বাংলার বনগাঁ মহুকুমার অন্তর্ভুক্ত। আর বেনাপোল রেলস্টেশনের মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশ ও ভারতের মধ্যে রেল যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা চালু রয়েছে।
Benapole is a village located in Sharsha Upazila of Jashore district, near the Bangladesh-India border. Benapole features a border checkpost and an international land port, known as Benapole Land Port. Managed by the Bangladesh Land Port Authority, the corresponding area on the Indian side is known as Petrapole, which is part of the Bongaon subdivision of West Bengal. Additionally, rail communication between Bangladesh and India is operational through the Benapole railway station.
