গদখালী (Godkhali) বাংলাদেশের ফুলের রাজধানী হিসাবে সুপরিচিত। যশোর জেলা শহর থেকে বেনাপোলের দিকে ১৮ কিলোমিটার এগুলেই গদখালী বাজার। গদখালীতে আসা ফুলগুলো যশোর থেকে ২৫ কিলোমিটার দূরে ঝিকরগাছা ও শার্শা থানার ৯০ টি গ্রামের প্রায় ৪ হাজার বিঘা জমিতে চাষ করা হয়। ঝিকরগাছা ও শার্শা থানার গ্রামগুলোর রাস্তার দুইপাশে দিগন্তবিস্তৃত জমিতে লাল, নীল, হলুদ, বেগুনি আর সাদা রঙের ফুলের সমাহার দেখে মন্ত্রমুগ্ধের মত তাকিয়ে থাকতে হয়। এছাড়া ফুলের সুগ্রান, মৌমাছির গুঞ্জন, আর রঙিন প্রজাপতির ডানায় ভর করে এখানে আসে চিরন্তন সুন্দরের বারতা।
Godkhali is widely known as the floral capital of Bangladesh. Located just 18 kilometers from Jashore district town towards Benapole, you will find Godkhali Bazar. The flowers sold in Godkhali are cultivated across approximately 4,000 bighas of land in 90 villages under Jhikargachha and Sharsha upazilas, situated 25 kilometers away from Jashore. Walking along the roads of these villages, one is mesmerized by the vast expanses of land adorned with red, blue, yellow, purple, and white flowers. Moreover, the sweet fragrance of the flowers, the buzzing of bees, and the colorful wings of butterflies bring a timeless message of beauty here.
