বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলে অসংখ্য উপজাতীয় নৃ-গোষ্ঠী ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে রয়েছে। তেমনি মৌলভীবাজার শহর থেকে প্রায় ২৭ কিলোমিটার দূরে শ্রীমঙ্গলের কমলগঞ্জ উপজেলায় আদমপুর ইউনিয়নে মনিপুরী সম্প্রদায়ের কাপড়ের ব্যবসাকে কেন্দ্র করে গড়ে উঠেছে মণিপুরী পল্লী (Monipuri Village)। স্থানীয় মনিপুরীরা এখানে নিজেরা কাপড়ের বিভিন্ন পণ্য তৈরি করে। দেশ বিদেশে মণিপুরী পণ্য সমূহের রয়েছে ব্যাপক চাহিদা। এছাড়া নিজস্ব সংস্কৃতি ও ঐতিহ্যের কারণেও মনিপুরীদের সুখ্যাতি ছড়িয়ে আছে বিশ্বব্যাপী।
Numerous indigenous ethnic communities are scattered across various regions of Bangladesh. Similarly, around 27 kilometers from Moulvibazar town, in Adampur Union of Kamalganj Upazila in Sreemangal, Monipuri Village has developed around the textile trade of the Monipuri community. Local Manipuris make various fabric products here themselves. Monipuri products are in high demand both at home and abroad. Furthermore, the Manipuris are renowned worldwide for their unique culture and heritage.
