চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ জেলার শিবগঞ্জ উপজেলার শাহাবাজপুর ইউনিয়নে ঐতিহ্যবাহী মুঘল তোহাখানা (Mughal Tahakhana) বা তোহাখানা কমপ্লেক্সের অবস্থান। চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ থেকে তোহাখানার দূরত্ব প্রায় ৩৫ কিলোমিটার। ফার্সি শব্দ তোহাখানার অর্থ ঠান্ডা ভবন বা প্রাসাদ। মুঘল সম্রাট শাহজাহানের পু্ত্র সুলতান শাহ সুজা তাঁর মুর্শিদ সৈয়দ নেয়ামতউল্লাহর শীতকালীন বসবাসের সুবিধার্থে ফিরোজপুরে তাপনিয়ন্ত্রিত ৩ তলা বিশিষ্ট এই প্রাসাদটি নির্মাণ করেন। বিভিন্ন ঐতিহাসিক সূত্র মতে, ১৬৩৯-১৬৫৮ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে এই তোহাখানাটি নির্মিত হয়।
The traditional Mughal Tahakhana or Tahakhana Complex is located in Shahbazpur Union of Shibganj Upazila in Chapainawabganj District. The distance of Tahakhana from Chapainawabganj is about 35 kilometers. The Persian word Tahakhana means cold building or palace. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan’s son, Sultan Shah Shuja, built this air-conditioned 3-storey palace in Firozpur for the convenience of his spiritual guide, Syed Niamatullah, for winter residence. According to various historical sources, this Tahakhana was built between 1639 and 1658 AD.
