পঞ্চগড় জেলার বোদা উপজেলার বড়শশী ইউনিয়নের অন্তর্গত করতোয়া নদীর তীরে কারুকার্য মণ্ডিত প্রাচীন বদেশ্বরী মহাপীঠ মন্দির (Bodeshshori Mondir) অবস্থিত। ২ দশমিক ৭৮ একর জায়গা জুড়ে স্থাপিত মন্দিরের নামানুযায়ী বোদা উপজেলার বোদা নামকরন করা হয়েছে। প্রায় চারশ বছরের পুরনো এই বদেশ্বরী মহাপীঠ মন্দিরে রাজা দক্ষের কন্যা ও ভোলানাথ শিবের স্ত্রী সতীর বাম পায়ের গোড়ালির অংশ রয়েছে। তাই সনাতন ধর্মাবলম্বীদের কাছে বড়দেশ্বরী মন্দিরের বিশেষ গুরুত্ব।
The intricately crafted ancient Bodeshshori Mahapith Mandir is located on the banks of the Karatoya River in Barashashi Union of Boda Upazila in Panchagarh District. Set upon 2.78 acres of land, the Boda Upazila was named after this temple. This nearly 400-year-old Bodeshshori Mahapith Mandir houses the left heel of Sati, daughter of King Daksha and wife of Bholanath Shiva. Therefore, the Bodeshshori Mandir holds special significance for the Hindu community.
