পঞ্চগড় জেলা সদর থেকে মাত্র ১৫ কিলোমিটার দূরে অমরখানা ইউনিয়নে অবস্থিত এক ঐতিহাসিক পুকুরের নাম মহারাজার দীঘি (Maharajar Dighi)। ধারণা করা হয়, ভিতরগড় নামের ১৫০০ বছরের প্রাচীন ঐতিহাসিক এক রাজ্যে মহারাজা পৃথু রাজত্ব করাকালীন এই দীঘিটি খনন করেন।

Maharajar Dighi is a historic pond located in Amarkhana Union, just 15 kilometers away from the Panchagarh district headquarters. It is believed that this pond was excavated during the reign of Maharaja Prithu in the 1,500-year-old ancient historic kingdom named Bhitargarh.

কীভাবে যাবেন: ঢাকা বা যেকোনো প্রান্ত থেকে ট্রেন বা বাসে সরাসরি পঞ্চগড় জেলা সদরে পৌঁছানো যায়। জেলা বাসস্ট্যান্ড বা রেলস্টেশন থেকে স্থানীয় সিএনজি, অটোরিকশা বা রিকশায় মাত্র ১৫-২০ মিনিটে সরাসরি মহারাজার দিঘী-এর প্রধান ফটকে যাওয়া যায়।
