সুনামগঞ্জ জেলার শহর থেকে ১২ কিলোমিটার দূরে ভারত-বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তে নারায়ণতলা (Narayantala) অবস্থিত। ভারতের মেঘালয় রাজ্যের খাসিয়া পাহাড়ের পাদদেশে অবস্থানের কারণে নারায়ণতলা থেকে দূরের সবুজ পাহাড়ের চোখ জুড়ানো সৌন্দর্য উপভোগ করা যায়। প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্য ছাড়াও নারায়ণতলার রয়েছে ঐতিহাসিক গুরুত্ব। নারায়ণতলার ডলুরা নামক স্থানে ৪৮ জন বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধার গণকবর রয়েছে। তাই এখানে আসা দর্শনার্থীরা বালাট সাব সেক্টরের অধীনে থাকা শহীদ মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের মাজারে শ্রদ্ধা জানাতে মোটেও ভুল করেন না। আর নারায়ণতলার মুগাইর পাড় গ্রামে গেলে গারো আদিবাসীদের জীবনযাত্রা ও সংস্কৃতির সাথে পরিচিত হওয়ার সুযোগ রয়েছে।
Narayantala is located on the India-Bangladesh border, 12 kilometers away from Sunamganj district town. Situated at the foothills of the Khasi Hills in the Indian state of Meghalaya, Narayantala offers mesmerizing views of distant green hills. Besides its natural beauty, Narayantala holds historical significance. There is a mass grave of 48 brave freedom fighters in a place called Dolura in Narayantala. Therefore, visitors coming here never forget to pay their respects at the shrine of the martyred freedom fighters under the Balat sub-sector. Moreover, visiting the village of Mugair Par in Narayantala provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the lifestyle and culture of the Garo indigenous community.
