বিছনাকান্দি (Bisnakandi) সিলেটের গোয়াইনঘাট উপজেলার রুস্তমপুর ইউনিয়নে অবস্থিত। বিছনাকান্দি মূলত জাফলং ও ভোলাগঞ্জের মতই একটি পাথর কোয়ারী। বাংলাদেশ-ভারত সীমান্তের খাসিয়া পাহাড়ের অনেকগুলো ধাপ দুই পাশ থেকে এসে বিছনাকান্দিতে মিলিত হয়েছে। সেই সাথে মেঘালয় পাহাড়ের খাঁজে থাকা সুউচ্চ ঝর্ণা বিছনাকান্দির প্রকৃতিকে দিয়েছে ভিন্ন মাত্রা। পর্যটকদের কাছে বিছানাকান্দির মূল আকর্ষন হচ্ছে পাথরের উপর দিয়ে বয়ে চলা স্বচ্ছ জলধারা আর পাহাড়ে পাহাড়ে শুভ্র মেঘের উড়াউড়ি। প্রথম দেখায় আপনার মনে হবে এ যেন এক পাথরের বিছানা, আর স্বচ্ছ পানিতে গা এলিয়ে দিতেই যে মানসিক প্রশান্তি পাবেন এই প্রশান্তি আপনাকে বিছানাকান্দি টেনে নিয়ে যাবে বারবার। এ যেন পাহাড়, নদী, ঝর্ণা আর পাথর মিলিয়ে প্রাকৃতিক মায়াজাল বিছিয়ে রেখেছে বিছানাকান্দি।
Bisnakandi is located in Rustampur Union of Gowainghat Upazila in Sylhet. Bisnakandi is essentially a stone quarry, much like Jaflong and Bholaganj. Multiple steps of the Khasiya Hills from the Bangladesh-India border meet at Bisnakandi from both sides. Alongside this, towering waterfalls nestled in the folds of the Meghalaya Hills add a unique dimension to Bisnakandi’s nature. The main attractions for tourists in Bisnakandi are the crystal-clear streams flowing over stones and the fluffy white clouds drifting across the hills. At first glance, it will feel like a bed of stones, and the mental peace you find by letting your body relax in the clear water will draw you back to Bisnakandi time and again. It is as if Bisnakandi has laid out a natural magical spell combining hills, rivers, waterfalls, and stones.
