শেরপুর জেলা শহর থেকে ২৫ কিলোমিটার দূরে গারো পাহাড় সীমান্তবর্তী রামচন্দ্রকুড়া এলাকায় সারি সারি পাহাড় দিয়ে ঘেরা পানিহাটা ও তারানি গ্রামের অপূর্ব প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যমণ্ডিত অঞ্চল পর্যটকদের কাছে পানিহাটা-তারানি পাহাড় (Panihata-Tarani Hill) হিসেবে সুপরিচিত। তারানি পাহাড়ের উত্তরে রয়েছে মেঘের আবছা আবরণে ঢাকা ভারতের তুরা পাহাড়। তুরা পাহাড়ের দূরের টিলাগুলো যেন মেঘের রাজ্যের সাথে মিতালি করে চারপাশে এক মনোমুগ্ধকর পরিবেশের সৃষ্টি করেছে। তুরার অববাহিকা থেকে সামনের পশ্চিম দিকে বয়ে চলেছে পাহাড়ী ভোগাই নদী। এ নদীর স্বচ্ছ পানির নিচে রোদের আলোয় চিকচিক করা নুড়ি পাথর আর শত ফুট উঁচুতে থাকা সবুজে জড়ানো পাহাড় চারপাশে এক ভিন্নধর্মী সৌন্দর্যের আবহ তৈরি করেছে।

Located in the Ramchandrakura area bordering the Garo Hills, 25 kilometers away from the Sherpur district town, the region of Panihata and Tarani villages surrounded by rows of hills with stunning natural beauty is well known to tourists as Panihata-Tarani Hill. To the north of Tarani Hill lies India’s Tura Hill, covered in a soft veil of clouds. The distant hillocks of Tura Hill seem to befriend the realm of clouds, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere all around. Flowing from the Tura basin towards the west is the mountainous Bhogai River. The pebbles glittering in the sunlight beneath the clear water of this river and the green-clad hills rising hundreds of feet high create a unique aesthetic ambiance all around.

কীভাবে যাবেন: ঢাকা বা যেকোনো প্রান্ত থেকে বাসে বা ট্রেনে প্রথমে শেরপুর জেলা সদরে আসতে হবে। সেখান থেকে লোকাল সিএনজি বা চান্দের গাড়িতে করে পাহাড়ি ট্রেইল পয়েন্টে গিয়ে বাকি পথ হেঁটে যেতে হয়।
