দামতুয়া ঝর্ণা বান্দরবান জেলার আলীকদম উপজেলায় অবস্থিত। বান্দরবান জেলার দুর্গম জায়গায় যে কয়টি সুন্দর ঝর্ণা আছে তার মধ্যে আকার আকৃতি ও সৌন্দর্য্যের দিক দিয়ে এটি বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম সুন্দর ঝর্ণার মধ্যে একটি। ঝর্ণায় যাওয়ার রাস্তা দুর্গম হওয়ায় অ্যাডভেঞ্চার প্রিয় পর্যটকদের কাছে বর্তমানে খুবই আকর্ষণীয় এই স্থান। দামতুয়া ঝর্ণাটি আরও বেশ কিছু নামে পরিচিত। তার মধ্যে তুক অ ঝর্ণা, লামোনই ও ডামতুয়া ঝর্ণা নাম উল্লেখযোগ্য। দামতুয়া যাওয়ার পথেই পাবেন ওয়াংপা ঝর্ণা, তুক অ ঝিরি ঝর্ণা, আরও বেশ কিছু সুন্দর ক্যাসকেড। এই ঝর্ণায় যাবার রাস্তা মোটেও সহজ নয়। ঝর্ণায় যাওয়া আসার জন্যে পাহাড়ী রাস্তায় প্রায় ১২-১৩ কিলোমিটার হাঁটতে হবে। তাই যাঁরা পাহাড়ি পরিবেশে হাঁটতে পারেননা এবং শিশু ও বয়স্কদের সেখানে না যাওয়াই ভালো।
Damtua Waterfall is located in Alikadam Upazila of Bandarban District. Among the few remote and beautiful waterfalls in Bandarban District, it is one of the most stunning waterfalls in Bangladesh in terms of size, shape, and beauty. Due to the challenging route to the waterfall, it has currently become a very attractive spot for adventure-loving tourists. Damtua Waterfall is known by several other names, notably Tuk O Waterfall, Lamonoi, and Damtua Waterfall. On the way to Damtua, you will find Wangpa Waterfall, Tuk O Jhiri Waterfall, and several other beautiful cascades. The path to this waterfall is by no means easy. You will need to walk about 12-13 kilometers on hilly tracks for the round trip. Therefore, those who cannot walk in hilly environments, as well as children and the elderly, are advised not to visit.
