The Ethnic Cultural Academy is an autonomous institution located in Birishiri, Durgapur, 37 kilometers away from Netrokona district. The Ethnic Cultural Academy was established primarily with the objective of preserving the cultural heritage of various indigenous ethnic groups living in the greater Mymensingh region, including the Hajong, Koch, Dalu, Mandai, and Banai.
