ঠাকুরগাঁওয়ের জামালপুর ইউনিয়নে রয়েছে ঐতিহাসিক জামালপুর জমিদার বাড়ী। ভারতের পশ্চিম বঙ্গের তৎকালীন তাজপুর পরগনার রওশন আলীর বংশধর জামাল উদ্দিন এই অঞ্চলের জমিদারিত্ব পেয়ে ১৮৬২ সালে জমিদার বাড়ীর ভিত্তি প্রস্থর স্থাপন করেন কিন্তু জমিদার বাড়ির নির্মাণ কাজ শেষ হওয়ার পূর্বেই ১৮৬৭ সালে জামিদার বাড়ির সাথে একটি মসজিদের নির্মাণ কাজ শুরু করেন। মসজিদের নাম রাখা হয় জামালপুর জমিদার বাড়ী জামে মসজিদ (Jamalpur Zamindarbari Jame Mosque) এবং ব্যয়বহুল এই মসজিদ তৈরীর কারণে জমিদার বাড়ির নির্মাণ কাজ অসমাপ্ত থেকে যায়।
The historic Jamalpur Zamindar Bari is located in Jamalpur Union of Thakurgaon. Jamal Uddin, a descendant of Roushan Ali from the erstwhile Tajpur Pargana of West Bengal’s current territory, obtained the zamindari of this region and laid the foundation of the zamindar house in 1862. However, before the construction of the zamindar house was completed, the construction of a mosque next to it began in 1867. Named Jamalpur Zamindarbari Jame Mosque, the construction of the zamindar house remained incomplete due to the high costs incurred in building this expensive mosque.
