Kulumchora Waterfall is located near the Sonarhat border in Gowainghat Upazila of Sylhet. Flowing through the heart of green hills, the crystal-white water of this waterfall and its strong current have given birth to a stunning rocky stream. It is a mysterious and enchanting place situated at the foot of the Meghalaya hills in India. Although very close to Bichanakandi, one of Sylhet’s most popular tourist spots, Kulumchora remains somewhat of a hidden and unknown waterfall of nature. Many visitors who hike from Bichanakandi to Jaflong come to enjoy the beauty of this stream. The primary source of water for this stream is the Meghalaya hills in India. The roaring sound heard in front of the stream is essentially the sound of water crossing the border. Therefore, people often jokingly say that taking a step here feels like reaching the birthplace of Kulumchora.
