দুইটি পাতা একটি কুঁড়ির দেশ হিসেবে পরিচিত সিলেট জেলার চৌকিদেখি উপজেলার ওসমানী বিমান বন্দরের উত্তর প্রান্তে টিলার উপর লাক্কাতুরা চা বাগান অবস্থিত। ন্যাশনাল টি বোর্ডের অধীনস্ত এই সরকারী চা বাগান প্রায় ১২৯৩ হেক্টর বা প্রায় ৩২০০ একর জায়গা জুড়ে বিস্তৃত। অসংখ্য চা গাছ ও উঁচু নিচু পাহাড়ে ঘেরা লাক্কাতুরা চা বাগান দেশের বৃহত্তম চা বাগানগুলোর মধ্যে অন্যতম। বছরে এই চা বাগান থেকে উৎপাদিত প্রায় ৫,০০,০০০ কেজি চা দেশীয় চাহিদা মিটিয়ে বিদেশে রপ্তানি করা হয়।
Lakkatura Tea Garden is situated on a hill at the northern end of Osmani Airport in Chokidekhi upazila of Sylhet district, a region known as the land of two leaves and a bud. Operating under the National Tea Board, this government tea garden spans approximately 1,293 hectares or about 3,200 acres. Surrounded by countless tea bushes and undulating hills, Lakkatura Tea Garden is one of the largest tea estates in the country. Annually, about 500,000 kg of tea produced from this garden meets domestic demand and is exported abroad.
