মধুমতি নদী (Madhumati River) বাংলাদেশের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নদীগুলোর মধ্যে অন্যতম। এটি বাংলাদেশের দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিমাঞ্চলের মাগুরা, ফরিদপুর, নড়াইল, গোপালগঞ্জ ও বাগেরহাটের উপর দিয়ে প্রবাহিত পদ্মা নদীর একটি শাখা। মাগুরা জেলার শ্রীপুর উপজেলার নাকোল ইউনিয়নে প্রবহমান গড়াই নদী হতে সৃষ্টি হয়ে মাগুরা- ফরিদপুর জেলার সীমানা ঘেঁষে প্রবাহিত হয়ে মধুমতি নামে নড়াইল ও খুলনা জেলার আঠারবেকিতে বাগেরহাট জেলায় প্রবেশ করে বরিশালের হয়ে হরিণঘাটা মোহনার কাছে বঙ্গোপসাগরের সাথে মিলিত হয়েছে।
The Madhumati River is one of the most important rivers in Bangladesh. It is a distributary of the Padma River, flowing through Magura, Faridpur, Narail, Gopalganj, and Bagerhat in the southwestern region of Bangladesh. Originating from the Gorai River flowing through Nakol Union of Sreepur Upazila in Magura District, it flows along the border of Magura and Faridpur districts under the name Madhumati, enters Bagerhat District via Atharobeki in Narail and Khulna districts, passes through Barishal, and meets the Bay of Bengal near the Haringhata estuary.
