চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ জেলা সদর থেকে ১০ কিলোমিটার দূরে ঝিলিম ইউনিয়নে প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যময় পাহাড়ি বনভূমিতে বাবুডাইং পিকনিক স্পট (Babu Daing Picnic Spot) অবস্থিত। রাজশাহীর গোদাগাড়ী ও চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ সদর উপজেলার কিছু অংশ নিয়ে প্রায় ৩০০ একর জায়গা জুড়ে বরেন্দ্র অঞ্চলের এই পাহাড়ি বনভূমি গঠিত। বনের শেষ প্রান্তে ভূখণ্ড থেকে বেশ উপরে অবস্থিত গোল চত্বর থেকে পূর্ব দিকে গড়ে উঠা টিলার মতো উঁচু-নিচু অংশটিই বাবুডাইং হিসেবে পরিচিত। এই চত্বর থেকে নিচে তাকালেই নজরে পড়বে পর্যটকদের মুগ্ধ করার মতো ঢেউ খেলানো অদ্ভুত সুন্দর বন। এই বন পেরিয়ে সামনে আগালে গাছে গাছে থাকা জানা-অজানা বিভিন্ন পাখী ও বেশ কিছু মনোরম ঝর্ণার দেখা মিলবে। এছাড়া বনের মাঝে প্রাকৃতিক ভাবে গড়ে উঠা আড়াই কিলোমিটার দীর্ঘ লেকে একটি ক্রসড্যাম নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। এই ড্যামের মাধ্যমে লেকের পানি ব্যবহার করে জমিতে সেচ দেওয়া হয়। প্রবল বেগে প্রবাহিত এই ড্যামের পানি দূর থেকে দেখলে অনেকটাই ঝর্ণার মতো দেখায়। এই ড্যাম পার হয়ে দুই পাশের ঘাসের মাঝ দিয়ে হেঁটে বাবুডাইং পিকনিক স্পটে যেতে হয়।
Babu Daing Picnic Spot is located in a naturally scenic hilly forest area in Jhilim Union, 10 kilometers away from Chapainawabganj district headquarters. Spanning about 300 acres across parts of Godagari upazila in Rajshahi and Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila, this hilly forest is part of the Varendra region. At the far end of the forest, the undulating, hill-like high and low terrain extending eastward from a circular roundabout situated well above ground level is known as Babu Daing. Looking down from this roundabout reveals a mesmerizing, undulating forest that enchants tourists. Moving past this forest brings one across various known and unknown birds nesting in the trees and several charming streams. Additionally, a crossdam has been built on a naturally formed 2.5-kilometer-long lake in the middle of the forest. The water from this lake is used for irrigation through this dam. The fast-flowing water from the dam looks very much like a waterfall from a distance. Visitors have to cross this dam and walk between the grass on both sides to reach the Babu Daing Picnic Spot.
