Located in Bhedarganj Upazila of Shariatpur District, the 600-year-old Mohisar Digumbori Dighi is known as a pilgrimage site for Hindus. Raja Chand Rai, the Zamindar of Bikrampur Pargana and one of the twelve independent Bhuiyans of the Mughal era, excavated this dighi (pond) on 10 acres of land at the request of the ascetics of Digumbori. The Mohisar Digumbori Dighi is surrounded by numerous structures that stand as immortal witnesses to history, including the Digumbori ascetic house, fair grounds, twin ponds, Mansa temple, Kali temple complex, and Lakshmi temple. During the re-excavation of the dighi in 1982, several rare archaeological artifacts, including a 42 kg touchstone idol, were discovered.
