If you want to see something like a road running through the middle of a haor with water on both sides, head to Balikhola in Karimganj Upazila of Kishoreganj District. The Niamatpur–Balikhola road, about 3 kilometers long starting from Roua in Karimganj, stretches across the middle of the haor, revealing magnificent beauty. Since the road is quite high, it does not get submerged in water. There are also opportunities for boat rides in the haor.
