বাংলাদেশ-ভারত আন্তঃসীমান্ত নদীর নাম ধরলা। ধরলা নদীর উত্তর-পশ্চিম পাড়ে কুড়িগ্রাম পানি উন্নয়ন বোর্ড কতৃক একটি পার্ক গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। আর দক্ষিণ পাড়ে রয়েছে একটি সবিশাল মাঠ, যা মদনের মাঠ নামে পরিচিত। কুড়িগ্রামের কাছে ধরলা ও ব্রহ্মপুত্র নদ একত্রে মিলিত হয়েছে। কুড়িগ্রামের সাথে নাগেশ্বরী ও ভুরুঙ্গামারী উপজেলার যোগাযোগ রক্ষার উদ্দেশ্যে ধরলা নদীর উপর একটি সেতু নির্মাণ করা হয়। এই সেতুটিই ধরলা ব্রিজ (Dhorla Bridge) নামে সুপরিচিত। বিকেল বেলা প্রাণবন্ত সময় কাটানো, নৌকা ভ্রমণ কিংবা সূর্যাস্তের দৃশ্য দেখার জন্য ধরলা ব্রিজ এলাকায় অসংখ্য দর্শনার্থীর আগমন ঘটে।
Dhorla is a Bangladesh-India transboundary river. A park has been built by the Kurigram Water Development Board on the north-west bank of the Dhorla River. On the south bank, there is a vast field known as Modaner Math. Near Kurigram, the Dhorla and Brahmaputra rivers merge. A bridge was built over the Dhorla River to connect Kurigram with Nageshwari and Bhurungamari upazilas. This bridge is well-known as the Dhorla Bridge. Numerous visitors come to the Dhorla Bridge area in the afternoon to spend a lively time, take boat rides, or watch the sunset.
